October 4, 2011, was a perfect day with respect to the weather for the Playa Hermosa Asociacion's annual beach cleanup. Silvia Laferriere, the Associations Ecological Blue Flag committee chairperson, had everything prepped and ready to go for about 100 volunteers to take part in what has become a tradition here in Playa Hermosa.
