The Playa Hermosa Association is working with private waste collection and recycling businesses and the Municipalidad de Carrillo to find solutions to the trash collection problem here in Playa Hermosa. The root of the problem is a combination of mechanical failure of a collection truck and the shear volume of waste that needs to be collected.
